If Only I Could Just Be

Wanting makes me suffer,
for what I want is transient …impermanent.

The roots of wanting is always for happiness,
yet I find it like a cycle, so vicious.

Wanting pleasure, fulfilling desire,
Shunning pain, afraid of fear.

They say the Self is complete,
for it is the reflection of the Almighty,
but desire and fear,
makes me lost it,
I feel so incomplete.

O Self…so near,
I can’t see.

O Self…the ultimate happiness,
I’m blinded by nearness,

If only I could just Be,
but to Be…
is not easy.
